...Before your appointment, cleanse your skin and apply your usual
daytime moisturizer.
...Relax and enjoy being pampered!
How to prepare your skin for flawless makeup and flawless photos...
Do's & Don't's
Don't go tanning within a week of
your wedding. A fresh tan will show
up as redness in your photos.
Don't start using new skincare
products a few days before your
wedding. You never would want to
risk breaking out or having an allergic
reaction.
Don't neglect your skincare routine
preceding the wedding. If your skin
hasn't been exfoliated or moisturized,
your makeup may not look as nice as
it could.
Do book a consultation/trial ahead of
time to make sure you don't react to
any products that will be used on your
wedding day.
Do get all recommended waxing done
(brows/upper lip). Trust me, it will
make the world of a difference in your
photos.

...Make a trip to your spa, and get a good facial to address any
problem areas that you would want cleared up 6 months from now.
Continue to get facials every 2-3 months. The last facial you have
should be about 1 week before your big day.
...If you are not already on a good skincare regiment that works for
you, I recommend starting one for day and night. Your esthetician
will recommend the proper products for your skin type.
...Exfoliate your face with a gentle scrub to loosen any dull, flakey
cells that may clutter the surface of your skin.
...Apply a facial mask the caters to your skin's needs (for example, a
hydrating mask if you have dry skin or a clay mask for oily skin).
These 2 steps will ensure that you have a great base for a flawless
makeup application on your special day.
...Also, tweeze any stray brow hairs the day before so any
redness/swelling will have time to go down.
...Have your brows professionally shaped. This is a very important
details that should not be overlooked. Your brows are the frames of
your face and they can make or break your desired look. A nicely
shaped brow will give you an instant face lift!
...Have your upper lip waxed. Although it may not be noticeable in
person, upper lip hair can become very apparent in professional
photos, and no amount of makeup will cover it.
